Post-Doctoral Scholar Opportunity

We have an opening for a post-doctoral scholar to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a physical scientist with expertise in Earth system modeling and simulations. This position is expected to be on-site at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Remote work may be available for an outstanding candidate with demonstrated experinece collaborating effectively. Required qualifications include:

• Background in Earth sciences, physics, Civil Engineering, Computer Science or related fields
• Strong computational skills with expertise in both numerical methods and machine learning for modeling dynamic systems
• Programming expertise with Python, Matlab, or C++
• Science communication skills
